While searching online for grants for children with neurodivergence, Georga came across FTCT. Here, Georga shares the story of how FTCT funding a FableKids Mobility wagon for her family, has been completely life changing.

"My son Lux is nearly 3 but he really struggles with walking. He is physically capable of walking, but gets easily overwhelmed when we are out and about. He would lie on the floor for ages and I would find it so embarrassing when we were in public."

"He would also refuse a pushchair which I found extremely difficult as he was a big boy, he just wanted picking up everywhere. This was also becoming a struggle at his child minders and she would limit where he was taken out as he needed picking up/transferring by car. I ended up having a brain bleed in May 2025, and I physically could not pick him up any longer."

"Now we have the wagon, it has changed our lives dramatically. I went on a walk with him for the first time in around a year, it was very emotional and overwhelming for me to of been able to do this. He gets so excited to get in his wagon and my life is now a lot easier!"

"We also got a hoover (my other broke, and with my brain bleed was hard to hoover on my hands and knees as my other had no handle) and some money for clothes!"

My whole life has changed and I am so very grateful, I have been spreading the word to people. Thank you so much to FTCT, you have changed my life and also my child’s.
