Use this page to find out everything you need to know about applying. Who can apply To apply for a grant, you must: Be the parent or carer of a child aged 0–18 Be facing financial difficulties. This includes high-street clothing shops, textile companies and manufacturers, laundries and laundrettes, logistics for clothing companies and more. Check if your employer is eligible here. Your financial situation We help families who are in financial difficulty and who are unable to afford the things their children need. This might be because of a sudden change in circumstances at home or more long-term financial challenges. More information on eligibility criteria can be found here. During application you will be asked to provide a recent bank statement, to show household income and expenditure, as well as child benefit and all other benefits your family receive. All the required documents can be uploaded from a phone or computer, making it easy to complete our application process. What we fund We fund everything children need for nursery, school and college, including: School Uniform PE Kit Footwear General clothing Study Essentials (e.g. schoolbag, stationery, books, etc) Course equipment (e.g to support vocational courses) Laptop for homework (if they are in secondary education and have no access to a home computer) Specialist educational tools: If your child has additional educational needs and could benefit from specialist educational tools we can support with this too.
