What is the School Uniform Grant?

The School Uniform Grant is specifically designed to ensure that every child has access not only to a full school uniform but also to other essential study supplies. This includes tech for homework (where there are no accessible laptops or tablets at home) and furniture, such as study desks and bookshelves, creating an optimal learning environment at home. 

How to Apply for School Uniform

Applying for the school uniform grant is an easy process using our online application form. When applying for an FTCT grant, you will be asked to share details of your home and financial situation and supply documents to support your application. All the required documents can be easily uploaded from a phone or computer, making it easy to complete our application process. 

Eligibility for the School Clothing Grant

Eligibility for our School Clothing Grant starts with our trade criteria, which specifies parent or carers must work (or have recently worked) or a UK fashion or textile business. This includes parents working at high-street clothing stores, textile companies, and more. 
After trade connection has been approved, our grants team take into consideration a  variety of factors including household income and expenditure and the challenges your family is facing, which have contributed to the hardship you face.
