Our Story News and Blog Winter Appeal 2024: Highlights As the temperatures dropped, our partners turned up the dial on their generosity. With their support, our Winter Appeal raised £16,700, bringing warmth, comfort, and hope to families across the UK. Here's some of their highlights. Boden Boden House (the company's London Head Office) hosted a special Christmas Market, which drew together stalls from Boden employees, selling products from their side hustle enterprises. Plus, a very special photo booth, with a professional photographer taking shots for employees LinkedIn profiles. Each stall gave a percentage of their profits to support our Winter Appeal, raising £190. CLEAN Linen and Workwear The team at Textile Care Providers, CLEAN Linen, hosted not one, but six fundraisers for our Winter Appeal. Each site put their own festive spin on fundraising, from jumper days, to bake sales and more. By working together and bringing out their team spirit, CLEAN linen raised over £1,300 for the appeal. LLUK ( and the Grinch) As if hosting a festive bake sale wasn't exciting enough, the LLUK team pulled out all the stops, with a special cameo from the Grinch (aka Abigail, Market Researcher at LLUK). Abigail commented, "I'm so pleased we were able to show our support for such an amazing charity. I certainly had an interesting range of reactions when we went out to lunch! " Thanks to LLUK and Abigail's efforts, they boosted our appeal by £90. There were many more events which we didn't have space to mention here, from an epic 12 days of Christmas Raffle at Johnsons Hotel Linen, to a Take and Donate Event at JoJo Maman Bebe and a special raffle at Ralph Lauren Bicester Village. We simply couldn't have reached our target without their enthusiasm, and passionate support. Read more about our partners. Interested in fundraising which makes a difference to children's lives?
